The economic situation of women in Poland: an event in Szczecin _PL_ 5th October
One of the WinnetEurope Board's members, the University of Szczecin, is collaborating to the organization of  a public discussion on polish women in the economy. The starting point of the discussion will be "The Strike of Mothers" - a documentary about working and living conditions of women in Wałbrzych realized by SzumTV and Feminist Think Tank – and political and social debate on the economic situation of women in Poland. 

The debate will be held in the West Pomeranian Regional Assembly ul. Mickiewicza 41 Szczecin, on 5th October 2012 (Friday) at 17.00

MARTA HOZER-KOCMIEL, PhD – a researcher at the University of Szczecin

EWA KOS – a councillor of West Pomeranian Regional Assembly, president of the Szczecin circle of the Green Party 2004, a chairwoman of the “Z Naszej Strony” Foundation

MAREK KOCMIEL – the mayor of Szczecin in 2000-2001, a co-founder of institutional structures of the Independent Students’ Association

Prof. JERZY KOCHAN – a social philosopher, an editor-in-chief of the “Nowa Krytyka” magazine

KATARZYNA BRZYCHCY - Voivodeship Labour Office
