Winnet Armenia hosted the Ambassador of Sweden

On March 31, WINNET Armenia was honored to host H.E. Martina Quick, Ambassador of Sweden to Armenia and Georgia; H.E. Martin Hagstrom, Ambassador of Eastern Partnership; Mr. Marten Ehnberg, Charge d' Affaires of the Embassy of Sweden in Yerevan; Mr. David Gullette, Democratisation Officer at Osce Office in Yerevan, and Mr. Harutyun Sargsyan, the Governer of Vayots Dzor Region in the Yeghegnadzor Women’s Resource Center.

The meeting was initiated by the Embassy of Sweden in Yerevan aimed at getting acquainted with the activities of WINNET Armenia member organizations and discussing the potential co-operation opportunities. During the meeting Mr. Harutyun Sargsyan emphasized the role of women resource centers as community key actors and expressed his willingness to support the initiatives of the network. H.E. Martin Hagstrom stressed the importance of the activities implemented by WINNET Sweden/ Winnet Skåne/ and WINNET Armenia in Armenia and expressed readiness to support the dissemination of the best practices in the Eastern Partnership countries.
